The UAE Youth & Junior National Championships starts in Abu Dhabi today and will be live streamed through the YouTube

The United Arab Emirates Youth & Junior National Championships is their comeback to the boxing local events after a short break. The young boxers can prepare to the upcoming ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships which will feature in Amman, Jordan in the first part of March 2022.

The United Arab Boxing Federation could host the Ramadan Open Boxing Championships in April 2021 with great success. The event recognized several talents and boxers from several regions attended in that national competition. The UAE Boxing Federation hosted the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships in May 2021 and the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships in August 2021.

The UAE boxers shined in the international stage of boxing in 2021, their talents earned historical medals in the ASBC competitions. Next to the ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba, United Arab Emirates’ Rahmah Khalfan Al-Murshidi awarded the Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum Creative Sports Award. She claimed silver medal at the welterweight (66kg) in the Dubai 2021 ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships which was UAE’s best ever women’s boxing result.

The United Arab Emirates Youth & Junior National Championships will start in Abu Dhabi today with the participation of 75 boxers. Eight teams sent their young junior and youth talents to the National Championships to Abu Dhabi this time. Boxers who were born in 2004 and in 2005 are eligible to attend in the youth part of the competition, while younger hopes from the 2006 and 2007 age groups can compete in the junior event.
