The Syrian Youth National Tournament will take place in the upcoming days to select the best talents

The President of the Syrian Arab Boxing Association Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib is an active official who is focusing to the next generation of boxers in his country. The Syrian President is one of the most experienced boxing officials in the continent who arranged several training camps, sparring events, national competitions and courses during the most difficult period of the recent months.

The Syrian national team has been preparing to the upcoming AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which will be held in Kielce, Poland in April 10-24. The Syrian youth boxers will have a national training and sparring competition to select the best talents to the international competition in March 7-10. Boxers who were born in 2002 and in 2003 are eligible to attend in the Syrian Youth National Selection Tournament.

The management of the Syrian Arab Boxing Association hosted its Youth National Championships a few weeks ago and their boxers are in continuous training camps together with the Iranians. The next generation of Syrian boxers are strong and they have the potential to bring back their boxing life to the best ones in the region.

Their new National R&J Seminar, the Junior National Championships and the Elite National Championships are also all scheduled in the upcoming weeks. The Syrian Arab Boxing Association decided to host a Seminar for national level Referees & Judges in the city of Aleppo in March 16-21. The Syrian Junior National Championships is scheduled to take place in Aleppo starting from March 18 until the 23rd and all regions are planning to attend in the event. The Syrian Elite National Championships is planning to host in the city of Tartous in April 6-10.  All of the Syrian regions and cities will be hosting their selection events before the National Championships.
