Macau Boxing Association launched its new Events Calendar for 2021

Macau Boxing Association has got an amazing engine, their International Technical Official Mr. Billy Vong who kept the country’s boxing life active during the Covid-19 pandemic. Macau Boxing Association’s management launched their 2021 National Calendar which contains events, training camps, summer educational projects and other kind of activities.

Macau’s first event in 2021 will be the Open Boxing Championships in March where the neighbouring countries are also planning to attend. Macau will be sending boxers to the China University Boxing Games which will be held in May 2021. Macau is planning to attend also in the Chinese National Games in September and their next Open Boxing Championships to find new talents is scheduled to take place in December.

Macau Boxing Association’s arranged the Physical Fitness and Shadowboxing Challenge in August 2020 which was held in the country to stay their players and youth talents active. The winners of the three categories were Chan Man Man, Leong Teng Chon and Alvin John Reyes Salinas in the Challenge. Macau’s ITO and boxing official Mr. Billy Vong was the main organizer of the Physical Fitness and Shadowboxing Challenge.

Macau Boxing Association hosted an important National Referee & Judge Course in December 2020 to increase the knowledge of their official especially in the pragmatic part. Their last Macau Open Boxing Championships was also held in December 2020 which became a small international tournament.

Macau Boxing Association’s main competition the 2020 edition of the Open Boxing Tournament was held in the country two and half months ago after the event has been re-scheduled twice. Macau’s two best boxers as Alvin John Reyes and Leong Kin Fong both defended their thrones in the Macau Open Boxing Tournament and proved strong developments. Macau hosted the event in the recent years with great success and their social media communication impressed many stakeholders in the Asian continent. Mr. Billy Vong arranged all of the necessary things and organizations of the Open Boxing Tournament and he was selected also as member of the new ASBC Commission.
