The 2024 IBA Women’s Elite World Boxing Championships will be held in Kazakhstan

The 2024 edition of the IBA Women’s Elite World Boxing Championships will be held in Astana, Kazakhstan according to the official announcement which was stated by the International Boxing Association.

The Vice-President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and the Vice-President of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation Mr. Aziz Kozhambetov presented the bid for the 2024 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in Tashkent.

The overall money prizes for the medallists of the 2024 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships will be 4.8 million US dollars which includes 10% that belongs the head coaches of the national teams.

Astana hosted the Women’s World Boxing Championships once in 2016 which competition was a Qualifier for the Rio Olympic Games. Host Kazakhstan topped the medal standings on that edition for the very first time in the history of the championships. The venue of the 2024 edition of the IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships will be the Barys Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan. The exact date of the 2024 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships to be announced soon.
