The Saudi Arabians selected five boxers to the Boxam U22-Youth-Junior Tournament which starts today

The Boxam has a strong brand name in the European continent, the Spanish Boxing Federation’s main event will be held in the city of La Nucia between May 16 and 20 this week. The management of the Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation decided to send their youth and U22 teams to the competition to increase their international experiences.  

The Saudi Arabians selected five boxers to the international competition, three youth and two U22 athletes. Ibrahim Al-Johani (48kg), Fawaz Al-Luhaybi (54kg) and Muhammad Al-Muwallad (57kg) will represent them in the youth age group while Jameel Maghrabi (63.5kg) and the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships competitor Rakan Al-Thagafi (71kg) are their boxers in the U22 age group.

The new edition of the Boxam Tournament is holding for the U22, youth and junior boxers in the Alicante regions of Spain. The venue of the 2022 edition of the IBA Youth World Boxing Championships, La Nucia is the host of the Boxam U22-Youth-Junior Tournament but the teams are accommodated in the picturesque tourist city, in Benidorm.

Strong boxing nations such as Belgium, Czech Republic, England, Estonia, Finland, Israel, Latvia, Netherlands, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Saudi Arabia, host Spain, and Wales will compete for the titles in the Boxam U22-Youth-Junior Tournament in La Nucia. The first competition day of the Boxam U22-Youth-Junior Tournament will start with 23 bouts today from 15:00 CET.
