Registration for Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Championships still ongoing

The registration for the ASBC Asian Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Boxing Championships 2022 through the Excel entry form is still open.

All affiliated national federations are encouraged to join this historic tournament set on November 26 to December 4 in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, providing a fitting conclusion to a remarkable year for the Asian Boxing Confederation.

Interested national teams can enlist their 13 to 14-year-old boxers until November 1.

A total of 14 boys and 14 girls will be crowned champions at the Sulaymaniyah Sports Club.

The schoolboys division will feature the 33-35kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 58kg, 61kg, 64kg, 67kg, 70kg and +70kg weight classes while the schoolgirls side will have the 31-33kg, 35kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 58kg, 61kg, 64kg, 67kg and +67kg categories.

Back in August 2019, the first-ever ASBC Asian Schoolboys Championships was held in Kuwait City, with Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and India dominating the medal standings. Meanwhile, it will be the inaugural edition of the continental schoolgirls competition.
