“The ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships was a really great event for all of the boxing family. The organization of the championship was on the highest level, the host federation demonstrated their warmest hospitality and friendship.

It started from the meeting at the airport where all officials and Referees & Judges were met at business lounge that made the opportunity to pass the PCR tests and passport control without standing in lines and interaction with other passengers.

As for the accommodation, all requests were satisfied, the food was amazing and varied so everyone can choose on everyone’s tastes. Everything went smoothly even though there were some unexpected problems during the championships. Even the blackout did not effect on the whole event.

The Opening and the Awarding Ceremonies left greatest memories and these were real celebrations for the athletes, coaches and spectators. The best benefit of the championship was the Team. It was really great to team of professional ITOs, Referee & Judges, LOC staffs and ASBC management. The experts supported to hold the championship on the highest level.

There was not any cases of misunderstanding, everyone was helpful and tolerated our work and job in Tashkent. Great thanks for the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation for the interactions into the traditions and culture through visiting the ancient city of Samarkand.

All in all, I am convinced that Tashkent is the right place to hold the IBA Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships in 2023,” added Ukraine’s ITO Ms. Polina Shtyfura who supported also the success of the championship.
