Mr. Walid Jarrar – Special thanks to all officials, the LOC, R&Js and staff members to arrange such great event in Tashkent

Mr. Walid Jarrar is Jordan’s most experienced boxing official who officiated the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships as Deputy Technical Delegate supporting Mr. Viorel Sima, the Technical Delegate in Tashkent. Mr. Jarrar shared us his opinion, thoughts and emotions about the first ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships.

He worked as Technical Delegate in several competitions including at the Dubai 2021 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships. Mr. Walid Jarrar was the main organizer of the Amman 2013 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships and worked dozens of international competitions in the recent one decade.

“The ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships was our first edition in the Asian continent for this age group. It was the second time for me in the capital city of Uzbekistan after the 2015 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships where I worked as Deputy Technical Delegate seven years ago.

The ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships organized in a very high level. The local organizers worked very hard for the success of this event, and took very good care of details. The Opening Ceremony was very specific and remarkable one with all of their lights and designs.

I worked in this ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships as a Deputy Technical Delegate with very qualified Technical Delegate, excellent ITOs and experienced Referees & Judges. Despite of the small number of participating countries, the level of the boxers was very high and we have seen many talented boxers.

We all impressed about the performance of three top boxers, Uzbekistan’s Azizbek Tojiyev, Japan’s Sena Irie and Tajikistan’s Davlat Boltayev in Tashkent. In general, the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships was a great success and I wished that some other countries could be attend in the event as Kazakhstan, India, Thailand, Philippines, Chinese Taipei and some others as well.

I was very happy that I officiated that prominent and historical boxing event and I would like to take this opportunity to thanks to ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba, the whole ASBC management, the LOC, ITOs and Referees & Judges in Tashkent. Everyone who supported the success of this championship. Special thanks to also Mrs. Margit Kincses and Mr. Tibor Kincses,” said Jordan’s experienced boxing official Mr. Walid Jarrar who worked hard to the success of the first historical event.
