Nepal’s head coach Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov arrived from Kazakhstan who arrived to the South Asian country three months ago. Since then he tried to build up Nepal’s coaches and boxers using his experiences from Kazakhstan to develop the country’s background. Nepal Boxing Federation organized a Farewell and Press Meeting to introduce Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov’s activities in the recent three months in the country.
Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov attended with one 14-year-old talent in the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships in Puerto Princesa, Philippines and introduced his work could be successful in long term in Nepal. Nepal has go nearly 10,000 boxers in all age groups in the country which would be the base of their future development and potential in our beloved combat sport.
The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation and official supplier of the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships, the Wesing company, supported Nepal Boxing Federation with new equipments in Puerto Princesa. Nepal Boxing Federation is planning to use the new gloves and equipments in their upcoming events.
Nepal Boxing Federation launched School in Boxing Program in June to find new talents in the country’s all regions besides to Kathmandu and hosted competitions for the youngest age groups in the recent weeks. Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov trained also their coaches next to their boxers since June to develop all aspects of the sport in Nepal.
Nepal Boxing Federation is planning to sign with Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov for longer term and working with their government to support their financial background. Nepal Boxing Federation hosted a Farewell and Press Meeting for Mr. Mukhtar Berdimbetov where the coaches and boxers could share their experiences about his work in Nepal.
