Kazakhstan will host their Women’s and Men’s National Championships in the upcoming two and half weeks

Kazakhstan Boxing Federation’s two important events will be coming soon still this December which are selections for the later actions in 2022. Their Women’s Elite National Championships will be held in the city of Shuchinsk from December 7 until the 12th. This will follow the Men’s Elite National Championships in the city of Uralsk which take place in December 14-24.

Their Kazakhstan National Championships will be one of their last activities after the busy year of 2021 and the best boxers can compete in the upcoming main events. The year of 2022 will contain AIBA Women’s Elite World Boxing Championships, Asian Games, ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships, ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships and several other top international competitions.

Their Kazakhstan Women’s Elite National Championships will be held in 12 weight categories in Shuchinsk: minimumweight (48kg), flyweight (50kg), light bantamweight (52kg), bantamweight (54kg), featherweight (57kg), lightweight (60kg), light welterweight (63kg), welterweight (66kg), light middleweight (70kg), middleweight (75kg), light heavyweight (81kg) and heavyweight (+81kg).

The Kazakhstan Men’s Elite National Championships have been scheduled in the official 13 weight divisions in Uralsk: minimumweight (48kg), flyweight (51kg), bantamweight (54kg), featherweight (57kg), lightweight (60kg), light welterweight (63.5kg), welterweight (67kg), light middleweight (71kg), middleweight (75kg), light heavyweight (80kg), cruiserweight (86kg), heavyweight (92kg) and super heavyweight (+92kg). Kazakhstan’s best female boxers amazed in the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships in Dubai, UAE this May where their girls topped the medal standings. The Kazakh male boxers earned two bronze medals at the Tokyo Olympic Games but their squad impressed in the AIBA Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships. Temirtas Zhussupov and Saken Bibossynov bagged gold medals in Belgrade, Makhmud Sabyrkhan and Serik Temirzhanov both earned silver while Ablaikhan Zhussupov took his third bronze.
