Aydos Tagaybayev and Samandar Tashpulatov shined in the Tashkent Regional Junior Championships in Chinaz

The Tashkent Regional Junior Championships was taking place in the small town of Chinaz which is located near to their capital city. Among Uzbekistan’s future hopes Arslan Kuandykov, Aydos Tagaybayev, Samandar Tashpulatov and Shokhruz Soliboyev were the bests in the competition.
Following the Tashkent Regional Youth Championships which was held in the city of Angren their best juniors could meet in Chinaz. Boxers who were born in 2003 and in 2004 were eligible to take part in the Tashkent Regional Junior Championships to raise the experiences of this age group before the main goals of 2019.
Altogether record number of 262 male boxers attended in 18 weight classes from 36kg up to the heavyweight (+80kg) in Chinaz. The competition was one of the first preparation events for the 2019 junior tournaments when among the planning tournaments there is an ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships.
Chinaz’s first gold medal in the event was achieved by 14-year-old Zikirjon Ummataliyev who defeated Azizbek Atabekov in the final of the 36kg weight class. Bostanlyk’s Arslan Kuandykov is also a 14-year-old talent who demonstrated his technique against Khusniddin Kakharov in the second final of the competition.
Following Jaloliddin Shamsiddinov’s and Isroil Karimov’s gold medals in Chinaz, Mukhammadkodir Mamurjonov amazed the crowd in the Tashkent Regional Junior Championships. The 15-year-old talent, who trains in the city of Chyrchyk with powerful boxers, was too smart for Bekabad’s Mirumid Saburov in the final of the 44kg weight class.
Aydos Tagaybayev is Chyrchyk’s top future hope who trains with national level coach Mr. Farrukh Kilichev in the city and arrived to the competition as top favourite of the pinweight (46kg). Tagaybayev, who has got impressive combinations, used the best fighting range against his teammate Shokir Abdurasulov in the final.
The next top performance was done by Davron Rakhmonov of Zangiota who defeated Bekabad region’s favourite Ozodbek Mazhitov in the final of the light bantamweight (52kg) which was a small surprise in Chinaz. Samandar Tashpulatov of Nurafshan realized his golden dreams in Chinaz and defeated Chyrchyk’s Nurlibek Uzenbayev in the title bout of the bantamweight (54kg).
Angren’s Samandar Solijonov had to do his very best to beat Bekabad’s Utkirbek Abdukholikov which was one of the narrowest bout of the whole competition. Shokhruz Soliboyev (60kg), Pulat Haydarov (63kg), Doston Makhmudov (66kg), Sardar Sobirov (75kg) and Sokhib Istamov (+80kg) all impressed in the strong competition.
