Kyrgyzstan is planning to attend with maximum number of male boxers at the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships

Kyrgyzstan sent maximum number of male boxers to the ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships to Kuwait City and their National Federation is planning to attend at the upcoming ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships also with big delegation. Kyrgyzstan claimed six medals in Kuwait City and their juniors are also aiming for podium places in the upcoming continental event.
ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships will be held for the girls and the boy boxers in the United Arab Emirates on October 8-17. The ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships will be held at the very first time for the girl boxers in this age group in our continent. The boxers who were born in 2003 or in 2004 are eligible to compete in the ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships in the United Arab Emirates.
The Kyrgyz Junior National Championships was the main selection event for them to the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships which was held in the city of Kochkor and 15 new champions have been crowned. Altogether 217 boxers attended for the medals in fifteen weight classes from the 42kg up to the heavyweight (+80kg) which means Kyrgyzstan has strong selections of pools in this age group.
Chui region’s Kabatay Mukash Uulu was named as the Best Boxer of the Kyrgyz Junior National Championships who dominated all of his fights in the event. The 16-year-old talent will be there at the middleweight (75kg) in Fujairah and his experiences and skills named him among the medal favourites.
Kudretbek Sulaymanov claimed silver medal in the Kyrgyz Junior National Championships but he has the chance to attend in Fujairah at the light flyweight (48kg). Chui region’s Alim Macho reached his career highlight to win their Junior National Championships and he is expecting a medal in the upcoming Fujairah event.
Adilet Omurov achieved silver medal in the Kyrgyz Junior National Championships but he had excellent chance to get a podium place at the light bantamweight (52kg) in Fujairah. Erzhan Avenov moved up to the bantamweight (54kg) and he is planning to return to Kyrgyzstan with a career highlight.
Naryn region’s Yryskeldi Emilbek Uulu was the Best Technician Boxer of the Kyrgyz Junior National Championships in spite of his relatively low experiences in the bigger events but he has the chance to increase his number of bouts in Fujairah. Chui region’s Aziz Sabirov spent his first year among the juniors in 2018 but he was able to win the title of the Kyrgyz Junior National Championships one year ago and the 16-year-old talent repeated that performance moving up three categories.
Bishkek’s Suleimenov International Junior Tournament bronze medallist Sagyn Satybaldy Uulu was a defending champion from 2018 and he was crowned once again which makes him a favourite in Fujairah. Chui region’s Suleimenov International Junior Tournament winner Khalid Aliyev was named as one of the best Asian junior boxers in 2018 and will be arriving to Fujairah as gold medal contender of the light heavyweight (80kg). Bishkek’s Argen Baktybekov was born in 2004 but as a newcomer he won the main national selection event.
