The Tajikistan Junior National Championships will be held from the 3rd of December with stars on the board

The next edition of the Tajikistan Junior National Championships for their male and female hopes will be held fromthe 3rd of December in their capital city in Dushanbe. Tajikistan’s two top junior boxers such as Abubakr Murodov and ASBC Asian Junior Champion Abdurakhim Yokubov both will be attending in the event.

The Tajikistan Junior National Boxing Championships will be going on until the 7th of December in Dushanbe. Boxers who were born in 2004 and in 2005 are eligible to attend in the upcoming Tajikistan Junior National Championships from all regions of the country and for both genders.  

Tajikistan hosted its Elite National Boxing Championships in April, the Schoolboys National Boxing Championships in September and the Youth National Championships in October keeping all of their age groups fit and active before the top international competitions.

The last 2019 edition of the Tajikistan Junior National Championships was held in the capital city of the country in Dushanbe which was a four-day long competition. Tajikistan’s future hope ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships silver medallist Abubakr Murodov won his new weight class but defending ASBC Asian Junior Champion Abdurakhim Yokubov had a surprise loss to Doston Dodov at the featherweight (57kg) one year ago.

Tajikistan’s boxing life turned into a new era when Bakhodur Usmonov achieved the title in the Bangkok 2019 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships. Tajikistan impressed also in the Fujairah 2019 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships on October where Abdurakhim Yokubov achieved gold medal and their boxers proved strong developments.

Abubakr Murodov is Tajikistan’s top talent in the age group who turned to 16 only a few weeks ago. He amazed in Fujairah where he claimed silver medal in the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships. Murodov moved up to the featherweight (57kg) and will be making his debut in that category in the Junior National Championships.

Abdurakhim Yokubov won the gold medal at the bantamweight (54kg) in the Fujairah 2019 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships which was his career highlight but he suffered an unexpected loss in the 2019 national final against Doston Dodov. Yokubov will be competing at the lightweight (60kg) in the upcoming junior national event in Dushanbe.

Khatlon’s Bibinashastamo Kholova is the best female junior boxer in Tajikistan who attended also in the Fujairah 2019 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships and reached the Top8. The 16-year-old girl stopped Dushanbe’s Nigora Odimova in the final of the bantamweight (54kg) one year ago and she is planning to defend her throne.
