The strong 7th Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup will be one of the highlights in the upcoming days

The 7th edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup will be a top highlight in the upcoming days where strong boxing powers including Asian female and male stars will be fighting for the medals and money prizes.
Kazakhstan’s biggest boxing show is scheduled to take place for the elite women and men boxers in Astana in July 15-21. The gold, silver and bronze medalists will be received money prizes at the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup. The accommodation and the meals for the official teams will be provided by the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation during the 7th Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup.
The competition was planning to be hosted on July 8-14 this year but Kazakhstan Boxing Federation moved the date to July 15-21 a few weeks ago and about the changes informed all National Federations. Kazakhstan Boxing Federation’s main international competition the 7th edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup will be held in their capital city in Nur-Sultan. Nur-Sultan is the official new name of their capital city which was known as Astana since 1999 until this February.
The following nations registered to attend in the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup in Nur-Sultan: Algeria, Bulgaria, China, Georgia, India, host Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Philippines, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Three Confederations the Asian, the European and the African will be represented their bests in the upcoming international event in Nur-Sultan.
Besides to Kazakhstan’s top stars India’s ASBC Asian Champion Shiva Thapa, Algeria’s AIBA World Boxing Championships silver medallist Mohamed Flissi, Tajikistan’s new ASBC Asian Champion Bakhodur Usmonov and Uzbekistan’s Asian Games winner Mirazizbek Mirzakhalilov all will be there in the start of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup.
The women boxers will be able to attend in five weight classes at the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup: flyweight (51kg), featherweight (57kg), lightweight (60kg), welterweight (69kg) and middleweight (75kg).
The men’s event is scheduled to be held in eight different categories in Astana: flyweight (52kg), featherweight (57kg), light welterweight (63kg), welterweight (69kg), middleweight (75kg), light heavyweight (81kg), heavyweight (91kg) and super heavyweight (+91kg).
The Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup is traditionally one of the strongest Asian international events besides to the Thailand Open International Tournament and the Indian Open International Tournament. The last sixth edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup was held in Astana, Kazakhstan where the host country claimed impressive ten gold medals.
