The next edition of the ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships will be taking place in Ulaanbaatar on November 8-18

The upcoming ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships for the female and male boxers will be held in the capital city of Mongolia in Ulaanbaatar on November 8-18. The registrations for the ASBC Asian Youth Men and Women Boxing Championships are open for all National Federations in the AIBA Database until October 15.
Mongolia hosted the 2007 edition of the Asian Men’s Elite Boxing Championships and the 2012 edition of the ASBC Asian Women’s Elite Boxing Championships. Following seven years of break the continental events will be returning to Mongolia which is one of our boxing powers with several stars in their current elite and youth line-ups.
The boxers who were born in 2001 or in 2002 are eligible to compete in the ASBC Asian Youth Men and Women Boxing Championships. This youth age group could attend in several preparation tournaments this year around Asia and Europe and most of them have got strong international experiences.
Altogether 20 female and male champions will be crowned in the ASBC Asian Youth Men and Women Boxing Championships. The women boxers can attend in 10 weight classes: 48kg, 51kg, 54kg, 57kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg and +81kg. The male boxers will have also 10 categories in Ulaanbaatar as follows: 49kg, 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg and +91kg.
The competition venue is the Buyant Ukhaa Sport Palace with 5045 seats which is located in the Khan-Uul District in Ulaanbaatar. The ASBC Asian Youth Men and Women Boxing Championships is an AOB event which will be officiated by AIBA Certified International Technical Officials (ITO), AIBA 2-star and 3-star Referees & Judges.
The last edition of the ASBC Asian Youth Men and Women Boxing Championships was held in Bangkok on April 2018 which event was a Qualifier for the Buenos Aires Youth Olympic Games and for the Budapest AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
