The new edition of the Tajikistan Youth National Championships will be held from October 21

The next edition of the Tajikistan Youth National Championships for their male and female hopes will be held in the end of October starting on the 21st in their capital city in Dushanbe. Tajikistan’s next generation in the youth age group contains high number of fantastic talents therefore tough battles to be expected between the experienced Tajik hopes.  

The Youth National Boxing Championships will be going on until the end of the next weekend in Dushanbe where new champions to be crowned. Boxers who were born in 2002 and in 2003 are eligible to attend in the upcoming Tajikistan Youth National Championships from all regions of the country which could support the development and experiences of these 17 and 18-year-old boxers.

Tajikistan hosted its Elite National Boxing Championships in April and the Schoolboys National Boxing Championships in September keeping all of their age groups fit and active before the top international competitions. The Tajikistan Youth National Championships will be the first selection for their talents for the upcoming AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which is scheduled on April 2021.

The last edition of the Tajikistan Youth National Championships was held in Dushanbe one year ago in October 2019. Their best stars as Abdumalik Boltayev and Ramoil Kurbonov were the top athletes in the 2019 Tajikistan Youth National Championships and both boxers are now in the elite level.

Tajikistan achieved several medals in the previous ASBC Asian Boxing Championships in various age groups last year. The year of 2019 delivered strong successes for the Tajik boxers and proved tough developments. The new stars of the upcoming Tajikistan Youth National Championships could be Khatlon region’s Sorbon Karimov, Khudjand’s Rakhimov and Dushanbe’s native talent Voris Makhmudov next week.

Tajikistan is planning to host its Junior National Boxing Championships in November after the Youth National Championships as their next activity.
