The Mongolian Boxing Federation joined to the country’s charity work to support the fight against the Covid-19

Following the aid actions in India, in Sri Lanka and many other Asian countries, the Mongolian Boxing Federation joined to the fight against the Covid-19 Coronavirus. The Mongolian Boxing Federation is part of their charity program and their management shared white cloths, face masks and many other important equipment during the Covid-19 pandemic which affects their country as well.

Mr. Dashdemberel Bat-Erdene is the President of the Mongolian Boxing Federation is in self-quarantine in Ulaanbaatar but he has been supporting teachers, athletes, coaches and colleagues in the sport. The 1995 Asian Boxing Championships bronze medallist former boxer and currently Secretary General of the Mongolian Boxing Federation Mr. Batnasan Tsoodol led the campaign and attended in the meeting of their donation activity. 

Ulaanbaatar hosted the 2019 ASBC Asian Youth Boxing Championships last November which was a wonderful comeback from Mongolia to the top nations of the continent. Their team captain, Asian Games silver medallist Chinzorig Baatarsukh has already qualified for the Tokyo 2021 Olympic Games through the Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event as lone Mongolian boxer.
