The Asian Boxing Confederation introduces its first ever ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships which will be held in Tashkent on December 7-17

The Asian Boxing Confederation introduces its new event, the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships which is a new milestone in the continent’s boxing life. The Asian Boxing Confederation’s next event, the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan where all of the affiliated Asian National Federations can attend. The team delegations handbook of the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships is under construction and will be shared with the National Federations in the upcoming days.

The date of the upcoming ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships is December 7-17 and supports the next generation of talents to increase their international experiences. This will be the first ever edition in the history of the Asian boxing events and realizes a dream which formed a few years ago.

Uzbekistan Boxing Federation is not only an Asian boxing power but one of the leaders of the world therefore the high quality of organization and the friendly hospitality are guaranteed in Tashkent. The Vice-President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Saken Polatov plans to attract the Asian boxers and delegations in Tashkent. Mr. Shohid Tillaboev is the key official of the Uzbekistan Boxing Federation who worked hard also to take the event to Tashkent.

Boxers who were born in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2002 will be eligible to box in the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships. The women and men boxers will be able to attend in the upcoming historical ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships.

The ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships will be one of the preparation events for the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games and the 2022 ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships. The ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships will be closing the busy and difficult year of 2021 and its activities in December. The Uzbekistan Boxing Federation hosted the 1995, 1999 and 2017 editions of the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships. The country was also the host of the 2015 ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships which took place in Tashkent. Uzbekistan Boxing Federation will be the host also for the 2023 AIBA Men’s Elite World Boxing Championships.
