The 7th edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup will be held in Astana on July 8-14

The Kazakhstan Boxing Federation’s main international competition the 7th edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup will be held in their capital city in Astana this summer. Kazakhstan’s biggest boxing show is scheduled to take place for the elite women and men boxers in Astana in July 8-14. The gold, silver and bronze medalists will be received money prizes at the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup.
The accommodation and the meals for the official teams will be provided by the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation during the 7th Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup. All travel expenses must be covered by the participating teams. The teams and the delegations will be able to arrive to the Astana International Airport.
The preliminary confirmation of participation must be submitted to the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation until May 12. All participants must apply for visas at Kazakhstan Embassies in their countries or contact Consulates no later than June 9. The last day for the registrations to the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup with the final list is June 16.
The women boxers will be able to attend in five weight classes at the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup: flyweight (51kg), featherweight (57kg), lightweight (60kg), welterweight (69kg) and middleweight (75kg).
The men’s event is scheduled to be held in eight different categories in Astana: flyweight (52kg), featherweight (57kg), light welterweight (63kg), welterweight (69kg), middleweight (75kg), light heavyweight (81kg), heavyweight (91kg) and super heavyweight (+91kg).
The Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup is traditionally one of the strongest Asian international events where the top boxing nations such as Russia, Ukraine, United States of America, Cuba, China, India, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Thailand, Japan, Philippines, Sweden and Mongolia all attended in the recent years.
The last sixth edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup was held in Astana, Kazakhstan where the host country claimed ten gold medals. The last event was a top preparation event for the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games one year ago. Altogether 38 women boxers and 124 male athletes attended in the sixth 2018 edition of the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup in Astana.
