The Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships was held in Pavlodar

The Technical Meeting of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships was held in Pavlodar, Kazakhstan where all of the officials, ITOs, coaches and team managers attended from the participating 18 nations.
After Tehran, Subic Bay and Bangkok the Kazakh city received the right to host the 4th edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships. The Executive Director of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Bagdaulet Turekhanov opened the meeting in the Irtysh Hotel in Pavlodar and informed the participants about the importance of the AIBA Heads Up campaign.
The Supervisor of the competition Mr. Mohamed Kamel Shbib shared the most important information, the AIBA rules and the news of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in the Technical Meeting.
Altogether 115 boxers will be competing for the medals in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships from 18 countries and from all regions of the continent. The number of the coaches is 30 in the championships.
The best nations of the Asian continent such as host Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China, India, Japan, Korea, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Philippines, Thailand and Turkmenistan all will be there in the competition with big teams from tomorrow. A developing Asian nation Bhutan will be competing in the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships at the very first time in the history of the event.
The general weigh-in, the official draw and the first competition day will be held in Pavlodar tomorrow.
