Registration for ASBC elite tilt open until October 1 only

The Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) is urging all participating national federations that have not registered yet to enlist their delegations for the ASBC Asian Elite Men’s & Women’s Championships 2022 in the International Boxing Association (IBA) database which is available until October 1 only.

Among the national teams that have already registered their boxers, coaches, reserve athletes and other delegation members are Kazakhstan, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Iran, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

China, Hong Kong, South Korea, Cambodia, Bhutan and Macau are planning to return to the continental competition following their breaks and the ASBC is advising them to register if they have not already done so.

ASBC recommends the national federations to list their reserves in case of injuries. Teams can have up to eight coaches depending on the number of their pugilists.

All the other details, rules and necessary information about the tournament can be found in the handbook sent by the confederation.

This year’s Asian Elite Championships will be hosted by Amman, Jordan from October 30 to November 13.

With the help of ASBC, the Jordan Amateur Boxing Association will hold a two-week international training camp prior to the tilt.
