Qualification systems for the Youth Olympic Games and AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships

The upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be held for both genders in Bangkok in April 19-28 and the event is the qualification competition for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games and also to the 2018 AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
The best 4 women and 9 Asian men boxers will be qualified for the Youth Olympic Games from the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships which will be held in Argentina this October. Winners of the women’s 51kg, 57kg, 60kg and 75kg, furthermore the men’s 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg and +91kg. Each National Federation can qualify maximum two women and three men boxers to the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
Furthermore the best 52 women and 65 Asian men and boxers will be qualified for the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which will be taking place in August. The event will be a historical step also in our continent as it will be the first ever ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok.

Women’s 48kg: 4 Asian boxers will be qualified
Women’s 51kg: 8 boxers
Women’s 54kg: 4 boxers
Women’s 57kg: 8 boxers
Women’s 60kg: 8 boxers
Women’s 64kg: 4 boxers
Women’s 69kg: 4 boxers
Women’s 75kg: 8 boxers
Women’s 81kg: 2 boxers
Women’s +81kg: 2 boxers
Men’s 49kg: 7 boxers
Men’s 52kg: 7 boxers
Men’s 56kg: 7 boxers
Men’s 60kg: 8 boxers
Men’s 64kg: 8 boxers
Men’s 69kg: 8 boxers
Men’s 75kg: 7 boxers
Men’s 81kg: 7 boxers
