Macau issued its boxing plans for 2024

The Macau Boxing Association issued their annual plans for 2024 which contains three edition of the Open Boxing Championships and other activities.

Mr. Billy Vong is the key person in Macau’s boxing life who arranged all of the recent boxing events in the country, summer training programs, Open Boxing Championships, business programs, public activities and courses in the previous years.

Their Macau Open Boxing Championships will be held in the end of April where the neighbors could be joined them. Hong Kong’s Au Ying Ying and Macau’s best male boxer, Alvin John Reyes were the best athletes in the last edition of the Macau Open Boxing Championships in 2023.

Their best boxers will be in oversea training sessions in the month of May to prepare for the forthcoming international competitions. The Macau Academic College Summer Camp will take place with the participation of 12-25 young students on July-August.

Macau will compete in the China Great Bay Area Boxing Championships in August before the second edition of the Macau Open Boxing Championships which is planning to be hosted on September.

The Macau Boxing Sport Promotion Show is a very important activity in the small country to introduce our sport to the public this October. Macau is planning to participate in the ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships in Amman, Jordan on December.

The third and last annual edition of the Macau Open Boxing Championships will be held for their elite, youth and junior boxers in the month of December. This will be closed their activities for 2024 and despite the small number of boxers in Macau, their Boxing Federation has huge commitment for our sport. Macau will be participating also at the 2025 Chinese National Games in several sports including boxing as well.
