Kyrgyzstan’s best elite and youth boxers train in the Issyk-Kul region to prepare for the next targets

The Kyrgyz elite and youth national teams train in the Issyk-Kul region of the country which mountainous area is famous of its health and sport benefits. The Issyk-Kul is one of the most famous lakes in the Central Asian region which had picturesque mountain views. The Kyrgyz national team prepares to the next goals especially the next edition of the ASBC Asian Boxing Championships and the World Olympic Boxing Qualifier.

Their men’s national elite team returned to their training camp in Bishkek in June where 11 top boxers prepare to the next goals. Head coach of the Kyrgyz Republic Mr. Daniyar Jusubaliev and Mr. Zhyldyzbek Niyazaliyev are the experienced trainers in the national training camp who arranged the schedule of the team in the first phase of the preparation. The head coach of their youth team Mr. Daniyar Tologon Uulu also joined to them in the second Issyk-Kul training camp.

The first phase of the preparation was done in their National Training Centre which was named after one of the heroes of Kyrgyzstan’s boxing life Nurlan Abdykalykov in Bishkek. Abdykalykov was one of the National Champions in the Soviet Union from Kyrgyzstan who claimed gold in 1984 and achieved bronze medal at the 1985 European Boxing Championships in Budapest. The second phase of their trainings is planning to strengthen the boxers in the Issyk-Kul region.

Amman 2013 ASBC Asian Elite Champion and Kyrgyzstan’s No.1 Azat Usenaliev won several international tournaments in the recent years but he was unlucky with the drawing in the big events. He is definitely Kyrgyzstan’s best boxer who won nearly 90% of his international contests in the recent seven years taking high number of titles.
