Kyrgyz junior champs Daniyarov, Tsar, Pansher dominate in Akelbayev joust

Kyrgyzstan’s national junior champions Temirkhan Daniyarov, Renat Tsar and Aliakhmed Pansher displayed impressive performances to emerge atop their respective divisions in the Kenzhebek Akelbayev Prizes Tournament that concluded recently in Balykchy.

Daniyarov, who had experience competing in the ASBC Asian Junior Boxing Championships, unleashed strong head punches against Ruslan Zhusupov forcing the referee to stop their flyweight (50kg) final bout.

Tsar, another young boxer who already represented Kyrgyzstan on the international stage, clobbered his rival Ramzan Kadyrov to lord over the light welterweight (63kg) division.

Pansher, for his part, bullied his way to the gold medal match of the busy featherweight (57kg) class where he pounded Islam Marsbekov.

Nurbolot Sultanov (minimum-44kg), Amantur Zhumayev (light fly-48kg), Bekbol Karypov (bantam-54kg) and Bekmyrza Abdukarimov (light middle-70kg) came out as the other winners in the tournament.
