Kazakhstan’s Yerassyl Zhakpekov won his contest in the 61st Belgrade Winner Tournament

Kazakhstan sent a strong team to the 61^st Belgrade Winner Tournament which is one of the most traditional elite competitions in the European continent. Among the Kazakhs, Yerassyl Zhakpekov delivered one of the best performances in the second competition day in Belgrade, he had a tough and veteran Belgian opponent in the session, Idris Leganase, the silver medallist from the Bocskai Memorial Tournament.The former Asian Junior Champion Kazakh found the best weapon against the Belgian and won all of the three rounds by unanimous decision and he marched to the semi-finals in this outstanding international tournament.
