Jordan’s Al-Kasbeh and Eshaish eliminated their star rivals in the Chemistry Cup on Day2

The Chemistry Cup is one of the strongest European international competitions where three Asian teams are attending as preparation for the Jakarta 2018 Asian Games. Jordan sent four boxers to Halle, Germany and among them Obada Al-Kasbeh defeated his Russian rival and following that Zeyad Eshaish triumphed over the German No.1 with superb physical condition in the second competition day.
Germany’s Wladislaw Baryshnik joined to the international stage in 2011 when he attended in the AIBA Junior World Boxing Championships. His last result was a bronze medal in the EUBC European Confederation U22 Boxing Championships in Romania therefore he looked energetic in the first round against India’s Dheeraj Singh. His South Asian opponent adopted the level of the bout quickly and delivered one of his best ever performances during his career in Halle. The Indian boxer, who attended in the AIBA Asian & Oceanian Olympic Qualification Event, advanced to the semi-finals of the light welterweight (64kg).
Jordan’s Rio 2016 Olympian and Asian Games bronze medallist Obada Al-Kasbeh tried to keep his best close fighting distance in the first round when he met with Russia’s former AIBA Junior World Champion Ivan Kozlovskii. Jordan’s experienced boxer landed tough hooks in their light welterweight (64kg) bout and attacked without any stoppage until the end of the final gong. Al-Kasbeh was more active than his younger Russian opponent and celebrated his triumph after the final gong.
Germany’s Silvio Schierle attended at the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships and the host nation’s most experienced middleweight (75kg) talent tried to start strongly against Jordan’s Arab Champion Zeyad Eshaish. The younger boxer from Jordan, whose general category is the welterweight (69kg), attacked more in the second round than his German opponent. The 20-year-old Eshaish, whose brother is their No.1 in the national team, simply landed more punches and eliminated the top German boxer in Halle.
India’s Strandja Memorial Tournament silver medallist Mohammed Hussamuddin returned to the national team one and half year ago and the southpaw looked quicker than Jordan’s ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships bronze medallist Mohammad Al-Wadi. The Jordanian veteran attacked more but his efficiency was not good enough in their bantamweight (56kg) bout. The 24-year-old Indian knew his opponent well and his tactic paid off in their contest which was won by Hussamuddin.
Slovakia’s European Games bronze medallist Viliam Tanko worked from longer distance against the smaller Madan Lal of India. The Slovakian bantamweight (56kg) boxer was a hard target for the Indian who attended in the World Series Boxing previously. The Indian changed his rhythm from the second round and some of his attacks reached the target area. Lal impressed also in the third round and bowed out the younger Slovakian in Halle.
India’s former AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships silver medallist Narender Berwal replaced the injured Satish Kumar in the national team for this tournament and he was motivated on his debut against Moldova’s Alexei Zavatin. His European opponent qualified for the Hamburg 2017 AIBA World Boxing Championships but the younger Indian found his weak points and Narender advanced to the semi-finals of the super heavyweight (+91kg).
