Iskhak Bazarbayev was the Best Boxer in the Kyrgyz Schoolboys Tournament in Tokmak

The Kyrgyz Boxing Federation hosted a Schoolboys Tournament of the 31st Anniversary of the Withdrawal of the Troops from Afghanistan. The local organizers divided the participants into two groups in the smallest five weight classes due to the high number of participants. Kyrgyzstan’s Osh-based Iskhak Bazarbayev became the Best Boxer of this Schoolboys Tournament in Tokmak.

Tokmak was the host of this schoolboy tournament where Kyrgyzstan’s all cities and regions furthermore Kazakhstan’s Taraz team attended in the competition. Kyrgyzstan’s best elite boxer Amman 2013 ASBC Asian Champion Azat Usenaliev began his career from the city of Tokmak which locates in Chui Valley, east of the country’s capital of Bishkek.

Young boxers who were born in 2006 and in 2007 were eligible to attend in the Schoolboys Tournament which became international with the participation of Kazakhstan. Altogether 155 boxers attended in the Schoolboys Tournament of the 31st Anniversary of the Withdrawal of the Troops from Afghanistan in Tokmak where sixteen champions have been crowned.

The competition in Kyrgyzstan was preparation event for the upcoming ASBC Asian Schoolboys & Schoolgirls Championships which is planning to be hosted later this year. Tolonbay Sulaymankulov of Bishkek became the Best Referee & Judge in this Schoolboys Tournament in Tokmak. The best coaching awards were won by Suyun Mamytov of Balykchy and Ruslan Baysariyev of Kara-Balta.

The first winner of the event was Kayrat Kalmuratov of Talas and Bekzhan Kachkynbekov of Naryn at the 32kg weight class where also Group A and Group B were held due to the high number of entered boxers. Osh’s Schoolboys National Games bronze medallist Iskhak Bazarbayev was the Best Boxer of the Schoolboys Tournament who defeated Islam Panshar of Tokmak in the final of the 34kg weight class.

At-Bashi’s Momunaly Ybraimakunov controlled all of his four fights in the event including his final over Bishkek’s Bektursun Melisbekov at the Group A of the 36kg division while Group B was won by Daiyr Zarylbekov. Emir Kylychbekov won the 2019 Kyrgyz Schoolboys National Games and he continued his winning path also in Tokmak but he had to do his very best against Kazakhstan’s Yerzhan Iztileuov and Kyrgyz National Champion Temirkhan Daniyarov.

Arzumat Toychiyev delivered an amazing success for the city of Tokmak in the event after beating Temirlan Kadyrov in one of the closest finals. Kazakhstan’s lone gold medal in the competition was achieved by Yerkebulan Ybraim who defeated Kyrgyzstan’s Amantur Toktonaliyev in the final of the 44kg weight class.

Kara-Balta’s Ilyas Panshezov claimed bronze medal in the 2019 Kyrgyzstan Schoolboys National Games which he changed into gold in this event after beating Bishkek’s Sherali Shaykidinov at the 46kg weight class. Aziret Abdukarimov (48kg), Islam Marsbekov (52kg), Malik Ismarov (54kg) and Islam Saruuyev (63kg) were the further winners of the Schoolboys Tournament in Tokmak.
