Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov feels his career highlight will come in Doha
Uzbekistan has got nine qualified boxers to the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships after the lone qualification event which was the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Bangkok. Uzbekistan claimed eight medals in the capital city of Thailand and among them two of their younger stars could get the title. The Uzbek team can expect also great results in the upcoming Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships.
Uzbekistan’s Hasanboy Dusmatov robbed into the world of boxing in 2013 when he won the Summer Universiade in Kazan, Russia. Following his great WSB performance in Season V the 22-year-old Uzbek boxer won the gold medal at the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships in Bangkok.
“I think the upcoming AIBA World Boxing Championships in Doha will be one of the highlight of my career. I am absolutely fine after the long and hard preparation and thanks to my sparring partners, who are my friends from the national team, who sharpened me to get the gold medal in Doha. Personally I think I have got chance to accomplish my goals but of course I respect all of my opponents who are tough athletes from the APB, WSB and major AOB events,” said Uzbekistan’s miniman Hasanboy Dusmatov.
