Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships – Drawing
60 Asian athletes are fighting for the medals in Doha
After the general weigh-in the official drawing was held in the AIBA World Boxing Championships in Doha, Qatar.The venue of the drawing was held in the Ezdan Hotel and Suites which is the accommodation place of the athletes and coaches.
The final number of the boxers was 243 from which meant some of the qualified athletes have already injured just before the start of the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships. AIBA President Dr. Ching-Kuo Wu, AIBA Executive Director Mr. Karim Bouzidi, President of the Qatar Boxing Federation Mr. Youssef Ali Al Kazim and Mr. Pat Fiacco the Supervisor of the AIBA World Boxing Championships were opened the drawing ceremony of the most important event of the year.
After the general weigh-in we could recognize 60 Asian boxers will be taking part in the Doha 2015 AIBA World Boxing Championships. All of the regions of the Asian continent are there in the AIBA World Boxing Championships in Doha. Uzbekistan could sent the most biggest number nine to the event while Kazakhstan has got eight boxers. India, Thailand and host Qatar all have got six boxers in the competition.
The competition will starts with its first competition day tomorrow at 2pm local time in the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiya Arena which is the venue of the AIBA World Boxing Championships.
