Hero of Day2 in Bangkok – Jordan’s Bader Samreen

The Asian Boxing Confederation’s new project the Hero of the Day will be published after each competition day during the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships. Following Mongolia’s super talented Mungunsaran Balsan the second winner is Jordan’s No.1 Bader Osman Majed Samreen who performed well and used his youth enthusiasm to beat South Korea’s Hong Hee Young in the preliminary round of the men’s light welterweight (64kg) in Bangkok.
Bader Samreen was born in their capital city in Amman on June 2 in 2000 and began boxing six years ago at the age of 12. Following his national events he competed at the Tashkent 2015 ASBC Asian Confederation Junior Boxing Championships which was his first international event. Samreen claimed silver medal in the 2017 Arab Youth Boxing Championships and achieved gold in the same event this February. Samreen, who trains in the Seror Sport Center in Amman, dominated his opening contest in Bangkok.
