Five days left to the start of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships

Only five days left until the first competition day of the Bangkok 2018 ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships. More than 30 countries and over 200 women and men boxers registered to the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships which will be held in 20 weight classes in Bangkok.
The upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships will be held for both genders and the event is the qualification competition for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games. The best 4 women and 9 men boxers will be qualified for the Youth Olympic Games which will be held in Argentina this October. Winners of the women’s 51kg, 57kg, 60kg and 75kg, furthermore the men’s 52kg, 56kg, 60kg, 64kg, 69kg, 75kg, 81kg, 91kg and +91kg. Each National Federation can qualify maximum two women and three men boxers to the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games.
Furthermore the best 52 women and 65 men and boxers will be qualified for the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships which will be taking place in August. The event will be a historical step also in our continent as it will be the first ever ASBC Asian Confederation Women’s Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok.
The date of the arrival to the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships is April 19 while the departure from Thailand is April 28. The competition period of the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships is April 21-27 including with a rest day after the quarter-finals on April 25. The bouts will be held in the Indoor Stadium of Huamark with the capacity of 6,000 seats.
