Boxers as Nadezhda Ryabets and Bekzad Nurdauletov are the best Kazakh athletes on March

One of the leading online media side in Kazakhstan the vesti.kz had online voting in the country about the best athletes in March based on their performance in the month. The winners of these votes among all sports were two boxers Nadezhda Ryabets and Bekzad Nurdauletov who both qualified for the Tokyo Olympic Games through the Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event.

The informative sport media page has got online voting every month about Kazakhstan’s best athletes and their followers can mark the winners. Kazakhstan’s athletes were very active and claimed several strong results in the month of March but one of their national sports the boxing won both of the voting processes.

Kazakhstan’s AIBA Women’s Junior World Champion and ASBC Asian Women’s Youth Champion Nadezhda Ryabets got 38% of all votes in the process and defeated a fencer and a chess player. The 20-year-old middleweight (75kg) youngster became the only one Kazakh female boxer among their five participating athletes at the Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event who earned the quota place for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Kazakhstan’s defending AIBA World Champion at the light heavyweight (81kg) Bekzad Nurdauletov got nearly 30% of all votes and defeated a famous hockey player and another boxer Rio 2016 Olympic Games silver medallist Vasiliy Levit. Nurdauletov was the main favourite for the gold medal at the Asian & Oceanian Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event and he realized his expectations earning the title in Amman.
