ASBC President Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Mr. Jamshid Pakmanesh’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Pichai Chunhavajira, furthermore, the whole ASBC management and the Asian Boxing Family are sending their sincere condolences to Iran’s Jamshid Pakmanesh’s family following the former boxer died in his homeland at the age of 80.

Mr. Jamshid Pakmanesh was born in 1942 and he began boxing as a teenager in Iran. He achieved national titles in the 1960s and his biggest international result was a bronze medal at the middleweight (75kg) in the 1970 Asian Games. He lived and trained in the Mazandaran Province of Iran.

The Asian Boxing Family remembers to his great personality, boxing achievements, support of our sport and kindness.

May his soul will rest in eternal peace in Iran.
