ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba will be arriving to the venue of the ASBC Asian Grand Slam tomorrow

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Anas Alotaiba of United Arab Emirates will be arriving to the venue of the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Championships to Xiamen, China tomorrow to visit the historical competition. Mr. Alotaiba will be accompanied by ASBC Executive Director Mr. Ali Salameh, ASBC Financial Director Mr. Wail Elsadig and ASBC Administrative Director Mr. Bassam Ghanem.

Following the four different ASBC Championships which covered all age groups, a new event will be held before the end of the year, the ASBC Asian Grand Slam. The idea of the first ever Asian Grand Slam arisen many years ago but the project is now realized with the support of the Asian Boxing Confederation, and BMA China.

The first edition of the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Championships will be taking place in Xiamen, China on December 18-22 and four top female and male boxers could attend each weight class. Altogether 13 champions will be crowned in the event in 5 women weight classes and 8 men divisions which are the official Olympic categories for Tokyo. The first edition of the ASBC Asian Grand Slam Championships is a money prize event, all of the medallists will be getting payments during the competition in the city of Xiamen. ASBC is planning to host the competition after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games also in 2020.
