ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba congratulates to Ms. Arifa Bseiso of Jordan as a new member in the AIBA Women’s Committee

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the whole ASBC management congratulates to Jordan’s Ms. Arifa Bseiso who has been appointed as a new member in the AIBA Women’s Committee. The first meeting of the Committee was held during the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Kielce few days ago.

Jordan sent their female team at the very first time to the 2010 ASBC Asian Women’s Elite Boxing Championships which took place in Astana, Kazakhstan. Arifa Bseiso was one of the members of the national team as a boxer in that continental championship and she competed in other events as well.

The former National Champion supported the success of the Amman 2013 ASBC Asian Men’s Elite Boxing Championships as an official and media person. Ms. Arifa Bseiso is an idol for Jordan’s women boxers who worked hard to establish the youth and elite female national teams in the recent years. Jordan’s best talents competed in the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships in Kielce last week which was their debut in this level but these young female boxers proved their fighting spirit and stamina. Ms. Arifa Bseiso organized the recent Women’s National Championships in Jordan and she is a real enthusiast in female boxing.
