ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Mr. Sukhee Nemekhbayar’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Mongolia’s former national team member Mr. Sukhee Nemekhbayar’s family following he passing away at the age of 50.

Mr. Sukhee Nemekhbayar was born in the city of Ulaanbaatar on 6 December 1971 and started his boxing career at the age of 14. He was member of the youth national team between 1988 and 1990 and he was involved to their elite squad at the age of 19. He joined to train with Mongolia’s legendary coach Bandi Damdinjav in 1990 and he prepared under his guidance until 1996.

He won the Mongolian National Championships one time and claimed four silver medals as elite boxer. He also won the Ulaanbaatar Box Cup and achieved two silver medals on this international competition. One of his top international result was a silver medal at the 1991 Ahmet Comert Tournament in Istanbul, Turkey. He earned medals in various international tournaments in Russia, in China, in Romania, and in the Philippines. He turned to professional in 1996 and competed in South Korean gala events until 1999.

The Asian Boxing Confederation is sending its deepest sympathies to his family and will be remember to his greatness, excellences and impressive results in our sport. May his soul will rest in eternal peace in Mongolia.
