ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Mr. Cildo Evasco’s family

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation and Vice-President of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore and the whole ASBC management are sending their sincere condolences to Philippines’ Cildo Evasco’s family following the AIBA 3-star Referee & Judge died at the age of 50.

Mr. Cildo Evasco joined to the international events as one of the top Referees & Judges more than 10 years ago and he supported the success of many big championships. He worked in the first historical ASBC Asian Schoolboys Boxing Championships in Kuwait City in August 2019. Cildo was one of the selected referees at the Ulan-Ude 2019 AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships.

Mr. Cildo Evasco was one of the referees in the Olympic group and he worked at the African Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event in Dakar, Senegal on February 2020. His last event where he officiated was the European Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event in London on March 2020 which was suspended after three competition days. He was selected also as R&J to the American Olympic Boxing Qualifying Event but it was cancelled.   

The Asian Boxing Confederation is sending its deepest sympathies to his family and will be remember to his outstanding attitude to boxing, his smile, and his great personality.

May his soul will rest in eternal peace in the Philippines.
