ASBC President Mr. Anas Alotaiba and the ASBC Family send their best wishes to the Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation on their first ever Founding Day

The President of the Asian Boxing Confederation Mr. Anas Alotaiba, furthermore, the whole ASBC management and the Asian Boxing Family are sending their best wishes to the Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation and the community on their first ever Founding Day holiday.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the second-largest country in the Arab world and has the population of 34 million. Imam Mohamed Bin Saud was the founder of the Al Saud royal dynasty and began in Nejd and in Diriyah in Central Arabia in February 1727. The modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has established in 1932 and King Abdullah made the unification into a holiday in 2005, which is known as the Saudi National Day on September 23.

The new and first Founding Day celebrates with various cultural events, fireworks, introducing the traditional costumes, celebrating the famous local coffee through Saudi Arabia and include an epic poem in southern Riyadh which contains 3,500 performers. Their capital city was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2010.

Saudi Arabia sent six talented male boxers to the recent ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships, which took place in Tashkent on January 2022, and it is the first big step for them in the road of developments. The Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation has new strategic plans and goals which created by Mrs. Rasha Mohamed Al-Khamis, their energetic and professional Vice-President. The Saudi Arabians are planning to attend at the ASBC Asian Youth & Junior Boxing Championships in Amman, Jordan this March and they hired a top coach, Mr. Kevin Smith to support their developments and activities. The Saudi Arabian Boxing Federation also plans to organize an ASBC Asian Boxing Championships in the near future.
