AIBA 2-Star Coach Course will be held in India on September 19-27

Boxing Federation of India will be hosting an AIBA 2-Star Coach Course in their National Boxing Academy which is located in the Haryana region in the city of Rohtak. This coach course is hosted by the Boxing Federation of India (BFI) with the assistance from the Asian Boxing Confederation (ASBC) for the future developments.
The AIBA 2-Star Coach Course will be held in the Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex in Rohtak, Haryana which region is the best in boxing in India. The date of the arrival of the participants is September 19, the course period is September 20-26 and after the 7-days long studies the departure is September 27 from Rohtak.
The course fee is 150 USD/participant which must be paid to Boxing Federation of India by September 4. All participants must be register through the AIBA Database by the nominating National Federation.
Coaches, who have already received an AIBA 1-Star Coach Certificate upon successfully completing an AIBA 1-Star Coach Certification Course with its examinations, are eligible to take part in the upcoming AIBA 2-Star Coach Course in Rohtak. The courses will contain also theoretical and practical classes in Rohtak.
India has got new President Mr. Ajay Singh since last October and also new management with General Secretary Mr. Jay Kowli. Their new Federation is working hard to find the way back to the success and the country could be competitive in all parts of boxing once again in the new Tokyo 2020 Olympic cycle.
Following their AIBA 2-Star Coach Course India will be hosting the AIBA Women’s Youth World Boxing Championships in November and another success of the South Asian country, Delhi will be welcoming the best men’s elite boxers in the 2021 AIBA World Boxing Championships which was announced by the AIBA EC last month.
