Titleholder Astana Arlans Kazakhstan will be fighting in Baku today

The titleholder franchise in the World Series of Boxing Astana Arlans Kazakhstan lost to the Uzbek Tigers in Tashkent last week but their strong squad will have the chance to do it better in their upcoming match against Azerbaijan Baku Fires in another away match today.
Azerbaijan Baku Fires defeated the current leader Uzbek Tigers 3-2 in their home match a few weeks ago in the difficult Group D. Both franchises named strong line-ups to the upcoming battle which will be a key challenge for Astana Arlans Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan Baku Fires as well.
Current ASBC Asian Champion Olzhas Sattybayev involved to the squad once again and the experienced boxer has got realistic chance to beat Dagestan-born Magomed Ibiyev of Azerbaijan Baku Fires at the Flyweight class (52 kg). ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships silver medallist Zakir Safiullin also added to Astana Arlans Kazakhstan who can box against a younger rival Nasraddin Mammadov this afternoon.
WSB Team Champion Aslanbek Shymbergenov will have height advantage against Azerbaijan Baku Fires’ Tamerlan Abdullayev while experienced Nurdaulet Zharmanov also a longer reach boxer than Belarusian Mikhail Dauhaliavets at the Light Heavyweight class (81 kg). In the final bout of their match will be held between Nurzhan Bekzatov and Azerbaijan Baku Fires’ WSB star Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Super Heavyweight class (+91 kg).
