Vietnam’s No.1 Do Hong Ngoc joined to the preparation camp for the ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships and trains with the Thai team
Thailand has been preparing to the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships with full speed and their selected women and men athletes are together in a camp since weeks to get medals and quotas for the country. Vietnam’s top woman boxer Do Hong Ngoc joined to the camp to prepare well to the forthcoming continental event which will be one of the most important ones in 2018.
Thailand will be the host of the upcoming ASBC Asian Confederation Youth Boxing Championships in Bangkok where record number of athletes will be competing. The event will be the lone qualification event for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games and also to the AIBA Youth World Boxing Championships.
Vietnam’s Do Hong Ngoc claimed silver medal in the Guwahati 2017 AIBA Women’s Youth World Boxing Championships and qualified for the Buenos Aires 2018 Youth Olympic Games already but she is hungry for further successes. She can do sparrings with Thailand’s best women youth boxers as Kittiya Nampai (51kg), Umawadee Khongsanthia (54kg) and Porntip Buapa (60kg) as well in the training camp.
