Uzbekistan sent 24 strong boxers to the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships

One of the best nations of the continent and in the entire world, the Uzbeks arrived to the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. Uzbekistan have sent 24 boxers to the second edition of the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships.

The Uzbeks proved fantastic performance in all of the recent big events such as the Youth World Boxing Championships, ASBC Asian Elite Boxing Championships and ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships which took place in Tashkent one year ago. Seven of their titleholders in the U22 age group are in Tashkent to defend their thrones once again.

Such stars as ASBC Asian Women’s Champions, Sitora Turdibekova and Navbakhor Khamidova are all members of the Uzbek national team in the ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships. Farzona Fozilova, Sabina Bobokulova, Feruza Kazakova, Nigina Uktamova and the super talented 18-year-old Aziza Zokirova all won ASBC Championships during their career as junior, youth and U22 levels.

Mukhammadkodir Mamirjonov, Dilshod Abdumurodov, Jasurbek Yuldashev and Jakhongir Zokirov are their U22 titleholders in the men’s part of the team. Jakhongir Zokirov was Youth World Champion in 2021 and he won all of his previous ASBC Championships since 2019. Alokhon Abdullayev, and Nusratbek Tokhirov are their strong hopes from the 2003 age group while Shokhjakhon Abdullayev joins from their elite national team.

The Uzbeks are aiming for the top position of the team rankings in this ASBC Asian U22 Boxing Championships once again.
