Temurbek Sadullayev is the star in the Uzbekistan College Olympic Reserves National Championships

Uzbekistan hosted their Junior National Championships in the historical city of Kokand and following that event another big event was held for this age group in Namangan. The Uzbekistan College Olympic Reserves National Championships was another option for their juniors to raise their experiences before the international bouts.
A junior international competition was held in the Tashkent region in the city of Bekabad a few weeks ago therefore their boxers have got a busy schedule. Fifteen weight classes have been held in Uzbekistan College Olympic Reserves National Championships: 42 kg, 44 kg, 46 kg, 48 kg, 50 kg, 52 kg, 54 kg, 57 kg, 60 kg, 63 kg, 66 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg and +80 kg. Boxers who were born in 2000 and in 2001 were eligible to box in Namangan.
Children of Asia Games is the main event for this age group in 2016 where the Uzbek boxers have got gold medal chances therefore the Bekabad Tournament, their Junior National Championships and the College Olympic Reserves National Championships were important steps for them during this road.
The first gold medal of the national event went to Rustam Ergashev who is a newcomer in the junior age group but won the title at the 42 kg weight class in Namangan. Asadbek Saifullayev secured the second title in the event at the 44 kg weight class following his success over a boxer from Bukhara.
Temurbek Dekhkonov is Namangan’s best junior boxer who claimed silver medal in the Uzbek Junior National Championships but this time he was able to do better and bagged the gold in the front of the home crowd in spite of the fact he was born only in 2001. The 15-year-old Pinweight class (46 kg) boxer was too strong for Asadbek Tashpulatov in their re-match after their Junior Nationals.
Bekhzodbek Isadullayev (48 kg), Farokhiddin Bozorboyev (50 kg) and Jakhongir Rakhmonov (57 kg) had enough experiences to beat all of their rivals in the College Olympic Reserves National Championships while Kazakh-descent Zhambolat Yermakhanov reached his career highlight in Namangan winning the gold medal at the Lightweight class (60 kg).
Tashkent region’s Temurbek Sadullayev competed well enough in 2015 winning several medals in the international level therefore his success in Namangan was not a surprise. He is doing a busy schedule in 2016, competed various national and international events before the Children of Asia Games.
Azamat Khikmatov lost his first contest in the Uzbek Junior National Championships last month but this time he proved much better performance and claimed the gold at the Light Middleweight class (70 kg) in Namangan. Alimardon Abduzhabbarov could not win medals in the last year’s events but in Bekabad he could beat all of his rivals which show his big progress in our sport. The 15-year-old talent continued his winning path in Namangan where he defeated Shoyadbek Ergashbayev of Andizhan.
Asadbek Normatov of Bukhara was silver medallist in the Uzbek Junior National Championships one month ago but his efforts delivered for him a title at the Light Heavyweight class (80 kg). Jamshidbek Mukhamadaliyev of Namangan lost to only two-time Junior National Champion Ikboljon Murodov in the final of the Uzbek Junior National Championships on March but in his home city he was able to beat all of his rivals.
