Turkmenistan will host three more events in 2025
The Turkmenistan Boxing Federation hosted their Elite National Championships and the next also for the juniors but their management are still planning to arrange three more national events in 2025.
The Secretary General of the Turkmenistan Boxing Federation, Mr. Durdymammet Kuljayev arranged the organizational matters of the Elite Nationals and the Junior National Championships and both delivered excellent quality of boxing.
Boxers from all regions and cities of Turkmenistan such as Ahal, Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap and Mary participated in the Elite and the Junior National Championships in Ashgabat.
Altogether 71 male boxers competed in the Elite National Championships in Ashgabat, mostly young U22 talents three months ago.
Turkmenistan’s No.1, the Asian Games bronze medallist Bayramdurdy Nurmuhammedov won his weight class in the Elite Nationals and several youngsters such as Daniyar Rozmetov, Dovlet Muhanov and Abdyrahman Yklymov joined him as winners.
Boxers who were born in 2009 and 2010 were eligible to participate in the Turkmenistan Junior National Championships which was held in 13 weight categories last month.
Abdyrahman Ovezgulyyev was named as the best boxer at the Turkmenistan Junior National Championships in Ashgabat. The last year’s silver medallist upgraded all of his skills, he defeated Alisher Goshayev in the final and he was named as the Best Technician Boxer of the championships.
Turkmenistan will host their Schoolboys National Championships for the 2011 and 2012 born boxers in September. Their Turkmenistan Youth National Championships for the 2007 and 2008 age groups will be held in October.
Turkmenistan had to cancel their Elite National Cup in 2024 but the event will return to their boxing agenda this December. Their Elite National Cup will close the year of 2025 before several important championships those will be coming soon in 2026.
