Turkmenistan Boxing Federation’s international training camp will be held in Ashgabat in a new date: May 10-20
Turkmenistan Boxing Federation will be hosting an international training and sparring camp for the Asian nations in their capital city in Ashgabat. The period of the training camp changed and the new date is May 10-20.
Turkmenistan Boxing Federation has got a new management which is widen their focus to outside of the country and trying to increase their possibilities and results into a new level. The main purpose of the international training camp is a preparation for the upcoming Asian Games which will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia this August. The Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games is also on the focus for the Turkmenistan Boxing Federation and the coaches of the participating teams can share their experiences during the camp.
Women and men elite boxers also can attend in the training camp where expenses of the accommodations and meals for the participants will be paid by the Turkmenistan Boxing Federation. The teams will be accommodated in the Mizan Hotel in Ashgabat and the attending National Federations have to pay only for their flights and visas to Turkmenistan.
Turkmenistan hosted the 2017 edition of the Asian Indoor and Martials Arts Games in Ashgabat a few months ago which was a great success for the Central Asian country. Their head coach is former Russian boxing star Mr. Aleksandr Lebziak who developed the technical and tactical skills of the Turkmen boxers in the recent one year which has already paid off in the Islamic Solidarity Games and in the Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament.
