The Technical Meeting of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships was held in New Delhi

The Technical Meeting of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships was held in the Ashok Hotel which is the official accommodation place of the team delegations. ASBC President and AIBA Vice-President Mr. Anas Alotaiba attended also in the Technical Meeting and welcomed all participants in his speech.
Mr. Sacheti from the Boxing Federation of India opened the Technical Meeting and welcomed all of the boxing family in New Delhi. The Technical Delegate of the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships Mr. Pat Fiacco started his speech with the roll call of the countries. After the Sport Entries Check it is revealed that 277 boxers will be attending in the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships representing 62 countries in New Delhi.
Mr. Pat Fiacco informed the participants of the Technical Meeting about the rules, schedule, equipments, AIBA disciplinary code and ethics. The camera review system will be tested at Ring during the AIBA Women’s World Boxing Championships in New Delhi.
The first competition day will be held on November 15 and two sessions are scheduled from 13:00 and 18:00 in New Delhi. Six days of preliminaries and quarter-finals will be taking place until November 20. Following the rest day, the semi-finals divided into two competition days and the finals are closing the event on November 24.
The live streaming will be available in the AIBA website and in the YouTube channel of the Boxing Federation of India from the first competition day.

November 19 – Day5 in two sessions

November 21 – Rest Day
November 22, 16:00 – Semi-finals
November 23, 16:00 – Semi-finals
November 24 – Finals
November 25 – Departure of the delegations
