The Sindh Boxing Association hosted an interactive Seminar for coaches and R&Js in Karachi
The Sindh Boxing Association is active and hosted its next Referees & Judges and Coaches Seminar in Karachi. Education is one of the most important topics to develop the sport and Sindh Boxing Association is one of the leaders to arrange seminars, courses for its boxing community.
Mr. M. Aslam Qureshi was the Instructor of the Referee & Judges part of the seminar and he arranged a presentation to all participants about the new rules and changes. AIBA 3-star Coach Mr. Ali Buksh Baloch shared his international experiences and also explained the new rules, methods and changes to follow-up the level of the participants.
More than 70 participants attended in the seminars, coaches, referees and judges and officials to understand the new rules. Mr. Zahid Khan, Mr. Saleem Chand, Mr. Tahir Khalil, Mr. Akber, Mr. Zafar Essa, and Mr. Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur attended in the courses from Hyderabad together with the participants from Karachi and other regions of Sindh.
The Referees & Judges and Coaches Seminar was interactive in Karachi, furthermore the copies of the presentations were provided to all participants. The General Secretary of the Sindh Boxing Association Mr. Hasan Asif Azad informed the stakeholders about the upcoming courses and activities. The President of the Sindh Boxing Association Dr. Siddique Patni presented the certificates to all of the participants of the seminar.
Their regional event was held in the Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University Boxing Arena in Karachi where 60 boxers from 12 clubs attended in the competition. The junior and youth tournament was inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor of BBSUL and Registrar of the University Lt. Colonel Rtd. Abid Hussain to keep the talents in the program.
