The second and final coordination visit of the next ASBC Championships was done by Mr. Omar Saleh Al-Jaberi and Mr. Bassam Ghanem in Kuwait City

Following the busy month of July with the Republic of Kazakhstan President’s Cup, Thailand Open International Boxing Tournament, Aitenov Brothers Youth Tournament and Indonesian President’s Cup, another top event is coming soon in the Asian continent. The first edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Championships will be the main highlight of the month of August.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships will be a historical step for our continent which will be held in Kuwait City on August 1-9. ASBC Sports Director Mr. Omar Saleh Al-Jaberi and ASBC Administrative Director Mr. Bassam Ghanem have done the second and final coordination visit in Kuwait City. The final arrangements and negotiations with all details of the organization are done by the ASBC delegation in Kuwait City.
The venue is ready, arranged by the Kuwait LOC and waiting for the participating teams in the upcoming days. The teams will be arriving to the international Airport to Kuwait City on August 1 before the sport entries check and the meetings.
The competition period of the 1st ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships is August 2-8. The finals are scheduled to be held on August 8 when the first 14 young male champions will be crowned in Kuwait City.
Boxers who were born in 2005 and in 2006 are eligible to attend in the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships in Kuwait City. Altogether 24 nations registered to attend in the first historical edition in Kuwait City.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships is scheduled to be held in fourteen different categories in Kuwait City from the 35kg weight class where the minimum will be 33kg. The official weight classes are as follows: 33-35kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 58kg, 61kg, 64kg, 67kg, 70kg and +70kg.
