The registrations for the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships are open for all Asian National Federations

The registrations for the 1st ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships are open and all Asian National Federations can send their entries to the ASBC Head Office and to the Kuwait Boxing Federation until July 1. The management of the Asian Boxing Confederation are expecting big interest about the competition which is a new step to develop our sport in the continent.
The historical first edition of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships will be held in Kuwait City on August 1-9. The competition period of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships is August 2-8.
All affiliated Asian National Federations can fill the official registration forms of the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships manually and send their youngest boxers to the event at the very first time. The national selection competitions are running in several Asian countries in the current days.
Asian Boxing Confederation arrived to a new milestone and launched its new competition to build up the bright future of our boxers from the very beginning. Boxers who were born in 2005 and in 2006 are eligible to attend in the ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships in Kuwait City.
The ASBC Asian Confederation Schoolboys Boxing Championships is scheduled to be held in fourteen different categories in Kuwait City from the 35kg weight class where the minimum will be 33kg. The official weight classes are as follows: 33-35kg, 37kg, 40kg, 43kg, 46kg, 49kg, 52kg, 55kg, 58kg, 61kg, 64kg, 67kg, 70kg and +70kg.
Kuwait Boxing Federation re-joined to the boxing map a few months ago following their suspension and attended in the ASBC Asian Confederation Boxing Championships with a new team last month. Kuwait had strong results in boxing mainly in the ’80s and their new management is ready to move the country’s boxing life into the next stage.
The Asian Boxing Confederation will be organizing five continental events in the current year setting up a new record. All of the age groups and both genders will have the possibility to show their talents and skills in the ring this year to raise the international experiences of our hopes and future stars.
The first continental event in 2019 was the ASBC Asian Confederation Elite Boxing Championships in Bangkok, Thailand this April. At the very first time in the history of the elite event both genders attended in the same time in Thailand’s capital.
